TERMS OF
SERVICE
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website located at 4mpllc.com and your engagement with the professional services provided by 4M Productions LLC ("4M Productions," "we," "us," or "our"), a limited liability company based in New Philadelphia, Ohio. Please read these Terms carefully before using our website or engaging our services.
ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By accessing or using our website, submitting a contact or project intake form, or entering into a service agreement with 4M Productions, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our website or engage our services.
These Terms apply to all visitors, prospective clients, and current clients. Use of our website by anyone under the age of 18 is not permitted without the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
OUR SERVICES
4M Productions LLC provides professional creative services including but not limited to:
- Video production — commercials, branded content, short films, documentary, and event videography
- Photography — product, editorial, event, and corporate photography
- Music composition, original scoring, sound design, and voiceover production
- Post-production — video editing, color grading, motion graphics, and final delivery
- Full-service production — end-to-end concept, production, and delivery
The specific scope, deliverables, timeline, and pricing for any engagement are defined in a separate written agreement, proposal, or statement of work agreed upon between 4M Productions and the client prior to project commencement.
CLIENT ENGAGEMENT
Submission of a contact form or project intake form does not constitute a binding contract or guarantee of services. A formal engagement begins only when both parties have agreed in writing to the scope of work, fees, and timeline — either through a signed proposal, contract, or written email confirmation from an authorized representative of 4M Productions.
Clients are responsible for providing accurate and complete information necessary for project completion, including approvals, assets, access, and feedback within agreed-upon timelines. Delays caused by the client's failure to provide required materials may affect project timelines and could result in additional fees.
PAYMENT TERMS
Specific payment terms are outlined in the written agreement or proposal for each engagement. General payment terms are as follows:
- A non-refundable deposit is typically required before project work begins. The deposit amount is specified in the project agreement.
- Remaining balances are due upon project completion or as outlined in the payment schedule within the project agreement.
- Late payments may incur a late fee of 1.5% per month on the outstanding balance, beginning 30 days after the due date.
- 4M Productions reserves the right to pause or withhold delivery of project files until full payment has been received.
- All fees are quoted and payable in US Dollars unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis and are subject to the terms of the individual project agreement. Deposits are generally non-refundable as they represent reserved time and resources.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Client-provided materials: Any materials, assets, logos, copy, or intellectual property provided by the client remain the property of the client. The client warrants that they have the right to use and share all materials provided to 4M Productions and that such use does not infringe upon any third-party rights.
Work product: Upon receipt of full payment, 4M Productions transfers to the client the usage rights to the final deliverables as specified in the project agreement. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, 4M Productions retains ownership of all raw footage, source files, and underlying creative work.
Portfolio rights: 4M Productions reserves the right to display completed project work in our portfolio, website, social media, and promotional materials unless the client requests confidentiality in writing prior to project commencement.
Website content: All content on 4mpllc.com — including text, graphics, logos, images, and code — is the property of 4M Productions LLC and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. Reproduction or redistribution without written permission is prohibited.
CONFIDENTIALITY
Both parties agree to keep confidential any proprietary or sensitive information shared during the course of a project engagement. This includes business strategies, unreleased products, financial information, and any materials explicitly marked as confidential.
This confidentiality obligation does not apply to information that is or becomes publicly available through no fault of either party, was already known to the receiving party prior to disclosure, or is required to be disclosed by law or court order.
